This kit is Kamen Rider Wizard released in the Figurerise Standard series. Following Kamen Rider Fourze, he appears in Kamen Rider Wizard, which aired in 2012. It's a character with a somewhat unique look, thanks to the robes that hang down over the lower body like a skirt.

First off, the overall build quality and construction of the main body feels similar to previous releases — it's a standard Figurerise Standard kit with the same smooth assembly and solid articulation/joint strength we've come to expect. The head and chest have clear red parts layered over reflective seals that give off a lovely shimmer, and the four hanging robes do move to some degree, though lift them just a little too high and the joint pops out. That said, you can swap them out for two fluttering robes, which opens up much more dynamic posing options.

The signature weapon, the WizarSwordGun, comes as separate gun mode and sword mode pieces, and only 3 hands are included total. That's really not many, and it does limit your posing options — I can see some people being pretty frustrated with that. On top of that, there's an almost record-breaking amount of seals in this kit. The red and silver band areas on the inside of all the robes are handled entirely with seals, and since those surfaces are all curved, they're tricky to apply cleanly and the result can look a bit off. And it doesn't stop there — even the gems on the back of the hands and around the waist are all done with seals too.

So overall it's a decent kit, but it does leave you wanting more — mainly because of how heavily it relies on seals over proper color separation, and the robes' somewhat flimsy attachment. The Kamen Rider kits right before this one had such clean, polished quality that the contrast makes it feel even more noticeable. Still, despite a few shortcomings, the overall look and proportions are solid. If you're a fan of Kamen Rider Wizard, it's definitely worth picking up. :-)
