Figurerise Standard

Super Saiyan Vegeta

Kit Review

Straight build + Stickers

Vegeta has finally made his Super Saiyan debut in the Figurerise Standard lineup. He's the most iconic Saiyan character after Goku, so it does feel like he took a little too long to show up.

The basic build is the same as Goku's, but since he's shorter, all the parts are smaller overall. The arm and leg articulation feels a step below other kits, which is a bit disappointing. That said, the joint strength is decent enough, so you can pull off poses better than you might expect.

The effect parts come loaded up with extras — similar to Super Saiyan Trunks released alongside this kit — giving you everything you need to pull off some seriously dynamic Final Flash and Big Bang Attack scenes.

Personally, I'd been looking forward to Vegeta's release for a while, but he feels a little underwhelming compared to what I was hoping for. Being released at the same time as his son Trunks — who comes with more parts and a better overall quality feel at the same price — makes the comparison even harder to ignore. Still, it's great that Vegeta finally got his own kit, and that alone makes it worthwhile. :-)
