Following the Ultraman [Type B], the Ultraman Suit Ver7.5 has now been released as a Figure-rise Standard kit. The color scheme is similar, but it's a completely different suit design — and compared to the Type B which had more of an Iron Man vibe, this one actually looks a bit more Ultraman-like.

The surface finish, just like the Type B, features an Extra Finish-style silver coating along with a glossy red coating, giving it a really premium look. It also comes with weapons like the Spacium Sword, Eye Slugger, and knife. The articulation is fairly average, but the joint strength is solid, so you can get into various poses without too much hassle.

Using the included clear stand, you can even pull off a knife-throwing pose, and the LED unit lets the eyes light up. Unlike the Type B which had two LEDs, this one only comes with a single LED on top — and you'll still need to track down two LR41 button cell batteries separately..

Dynamic posing is a bit of a challenge, but the plated finish really carries the kit visually. Even if you're not familiar with the source material, this seems like a great action figure model kit that's plenty fun to enjoy. :-)
