Kit Review

Straight build + Stickers
This kit is the Figurerise Standard Kamen Rider Ex-Aid. It aired in Korea in 2018, and the Action Gamer Level 2 form of Ex-Aid has been made into a kit here. It's a pretty distinctive design compared to previous releases — with that pinkish color scheme and even the eyes and hair sculpted in, it really stands out.
The articulation and joint strength are pretty much the same as before, so the overall quality is solid and dependable. The control unit on the chest uses a structure where seals sit behind clear parts, giving it a great sense of depth, and the signature Gashakon Breaker weapon is also nicely done. The biggest highlight of this kit is that it comes with two types of stickers — the usual shiny stickers, plus the softer seal-type stickers more commonly seen with Macross and One Piece kits, and both are included together. It's not unusual to get both waterslide decals and seals together, but getting two different types of stickers like this feels like a first.
The review photos above show the thinner seal-type stickers applied — they blend in more naturally than the foil stickers and have the advantage of staying put nicely. On the flip side, the seals themselves are thin enough that the background color can show through a bit. Giving you the option to choose based on your preference is definitely a plus, but the sheer amount of work is about double compared to previous kits — it honestly feels like applying the stickers takes way longer than actually building the kit.
Anyway, as a Kamen Rider kit with a distinctive design that really sets it apart from the rest, this is definitely worth picking up if you enjoyed Ex-Aid. :-)
