Kamen Rider Double Cyclonejoker has been released as a Figurerise Standard kit. This character previously got a large release back in 2010 under the MG Figurerise lineup, and now it's out in an HG-sized format.
The basic construction is quite different from previous Figurerise Standard Kamen Rider kits — to match Kamen Rider Double's concept of splitting left and right, the body parts layout has been completely reworked. It uses a central body frame part that the armor pieces for both sides of the head and torso attach to, and these can be removed and swapped onto separate half-body parts. The connection point on these half-body parts has a slide gimmick, letting you push one half of the body out to recreate special poses like the Joker Extreme.
When the body is reassembled in the split-half state, the neck and torso joints are fully locked in place, so posing options are limited — but it's still impressive that a feature even the larger MG Figurerise couldn't pull off has been pulled off here in the Figurerise Standard.
Everything else is pretty much in line with previous kits — solid articulation, decent joint strength, and clean overall quality you'd expect from a Figurerise Standard. And with the special body-splitting feature on top of that, this is going to be a seriously appealing kit for any Kamen Rider fan. :-)
