Kit Review

Masked Rider Kuuga Mighty Form has been released as part of the Figure-rise Standard lineup. Maybe it's because the character is from 2000, but the design feels a little old-school — though in a way, it also gives off more of a classic Masked Rider vibe.
The basic setup is pretty much the same as the other Figure-rise Standard Masked Riders, but the waist articulation gimmick uses a new structure that gives it a wider range of motion. Beyond that, it's a kit with solid limb articulation and joint strength that makes posing a lot of fun — and it definitely feels like the poses come out more naturally compared to previous releases. Especially since the earlier kits (Cyclone Joker, Heat Metal, Luna Trigger) had somewhat limited articulation due to their split-body structure, the difference is even more noticeable here.
You get a clear stand and 7 hands, but the only accessory is a single flame effect part that plugs into the bottom of the right foot, which does feel a bit sparse. That said, the smooth and natural articulation of the kit itself more than carries the overall quality, so it's still a pretty impressive package.
As another step forward in the ever-evolving Figure-rise Standard lineup, this feels like a really great kit for enjoying both the building and posing experience. :-)
