Ultraman Suit Evil Tiga

Kit Review

Straight build + Stickers

This kit is the Ultraman Suit Evil Tiga released as a Figure-rise Standard. Based on the previously released Ultraman Suit Tiga, the overall molded colors have been changed and the armor design has been tweaked in various places. The silver plated surfaces in particular have a heavier, more subdued feel to them, while Tiga's excellent articulation characteristics carry over intact.

The LED unit implementation and beam parts usage are also identical to Tiga, and thanks to the leg articulation that sets it apart from other Ultraman kits, posing is a bit easier. One thing worth noting is that an extra set of open hands with a slightly different finger arrangement has been added.

So the joint structure, accessories, and design concept are all the same as Tiga — but since the overall detail and color scheme are quite different, it does feel somewhat like building a brand-new kit in its own right. Either way, it's top-tier in terms of articulation and looks pretty great too, so if you're after a darker, more sinister-looking Ultraman, this one's definitely worth recommending. :-)
