This kit is the Ultraman Suit Zero Action released as a Figure-rise Standard. As the name suggests, it's an action-oriented Ultraman with reinforced waist joints in place of an LED unit. Previous releases came out as two separate kits — an LED version and an action version — but this kit lets you choose between the LED unit parts and the waist articulation parts and install whichever you prefer inside the body.

To start with, the color scheme is more complex compared to other Ultramen, but the high level of parts separation delivers an impressive straight build appearance. It's more of a budget(?) version, so plated parts and gloss injection aren't applied on a large scale, but it still shows off a sufficiently distinctive color palette.

The articulation also features the most advanced joint design yet, with flexible hip and shoulder joints. The ankles in particular are remarkably flexible in all directions, giving it an impressive level of stability and ground contact.
