Blackwargreymon has been released as a color variant of the Figure-rise Standard Wargreymon. Compared to the original Wargreymon, the overall construction is identical — only the molded color has changed, and the shield pattern on the back has been swapped out for a plain design. On top of that, clear effect parts for the Dramon Kira have been added as a bonus, bumping the price up by ¥300.
So the basic articulation and gimmicks are the same as before, and it still shows off excellent color separation and proportions. That said, the somewhat shaky joint strength relative to its size carries over too. The shoulders are stiff while the lower body joints feel a bit loose, so you'll need to balance the center of gravity carefully when posing. Still, thanks to its flashy style and solid volume, the poses themselves look great. As for the changes, the newly redesigned wings have had their pattern removed, giving them a rather plain look, while the added Dramon Kira effect parts are quite striking and fit the kit really well.
It's admittedly closer to a simple color variant kit, but if you're a Digimon Adventure fan, it's still a pretty fun build in its own right. :-)
