Figurerise Standard

Beelzemon

Kit Review

Straight build + Stickers

This kit is Beelzemon released as part of the Figure-rise Standard series. It's one of the Seven Demon Lords from the Digimon series, with a form that's close to a fully humanoid shape, and its distinctive style is well realized with excellent color separation.

First off, it delivers a solid feel of articulation from head to toe without any polycaps. Combined with great articulation, it's a kit that's a lot of fun to pose. On top of that, the stylish visuals make this personally my favorite Digimon kit released so far. Also, since the stand joint parts are assembled together between the tail and the torso, aerial poses are held very securely.

For weapons, two shotguns called Berenjena are included, and they connect firmly with the swappable dedicated hand parts. The Berenjena can be stored on the back and on the sides of the legs, and the 4 pipes on the back can be moved freely. Lead wire is used inside the multi-jointed tail, and it holds whatever angle you put it in just fine. The one downside is that the lead wire used on the head has quite a bit of spring to it, which makes it a bit tricky to get it to hang down naturally.

All in all, the excellent color separation and solid build give this kit a really high-quality feel. Whether you're a Digimon fan or just someone who likes the style, this is a kit you can pick up without hesitation. :-)
