This kit is the Ultraman Suit Tiga Action released in the Figure-rise Standard series. Just like the other Action series kits before it, it's essentially the previously released Figure-rise Standard Ultraman Suit Tiga with an action-type waist added to the mix. Even though new waist parts were added, the LED unit and plated parts from the original kit are gone, bringing the price down by ¥1,800 to ¥3,000.

Aside from the more flexible waist thanks to the action-type joint, every other structural feature is identical to the original kit — the excellent articulation, joint strength, and various accessory parts are all still there. So for this review, just checking out the changes to the molded color and waist articulation should be plenty.

Being a more budget-friendly release, the visuals are a bit more plain than before — but on top of the original LED-housing waist, you also get the action-type waist parts included, so the value for money is noticeably better. Either way, if you're someone who prioritizes Ultraman's action potential, this looks like a kit with more than enough to keep you happy. :-)
