The overall parts layout feels a bit different from Bandai's previous girl model kits, and in particular the joint articulation works differently from earlier releases. Things like the elbow that rotates and bends in all directions, or the hip joint that bends from the upper thigh without being blocked by the skirt — there are quite a few unique touches here.

Above all, the color separation here is more ambitious than any other kit I've seen — the complex color combinations of the outfit are pulled off through parts breakdown that exceeds expectations.
