This kit is the Gundam Base limited MG Zaku Cannon (Z Gundam Ver.). It's based on the standard release MG Zaku Cannonwith the molded colors changed to the Z Gundam MSV color version. There's no new tooling — it's a straight-up color variant kit.

So all the contents and structural features are identical to the original, and since it's based on the excellent MG Zaku v2.0, the quality is still top-notch. The unique purple and blue color combo does give it a look that's clearly distinct from the standard version. That said, to pull off the new color scheme, a whopping 7 runners are included as duplicates, leaving you with a massive pile of leftover parts. All those extra runners also mean the box is thicker, and the price has gone up ¥1,500 to ¥6,000.
