This kit is the RG Hi-Nu Gundam [Titanium Finish], released as a Gundam Base exclusive. It's a version of the standard RG Hi-Nu Gundamwith a titanium finish coating applied — no new molding whatsoever, just a straight-up plated version.

So all the contents and features are identical to the standard release, and for this review you really just need to take a good look at how the coating feels. Even the blue armor has metallic molding applied, giving the whole thing a premium look overall. In terms of quality, it still boasts excellent articulation, joint strength, and proportions — and combined with the marble-like reflective sheen that titanium finish coating is known for, this kit turned out to be a really fun one to pose and display.

One thing to note with plated kits is that the extra coating on the joint pins can sometimes reduce clearance, making assembly and movement stiff. Fortunately, this kit goes together and moves just fine without any need to shave down the joint pins. That said, one downside as a plated kit is that under-gates weren't used in many places on the plated parts, so you can spot some gate marks on the plated surfaces here and there — though since they're white, they're at least a little less noticeable.

Either way, taking an already excellent kit and adding top-tier coating on top of it makes it feel like an even more premium product. It's a pricey plated kit for sure, but for anyone who's been a fan of the Hi-Nu and titanium finish coating, this one seems well worth the money. :-)
