Just like the Super Pack, the Armored Pack also came out as a set with both the Alto and Ozma versions. Since the kit is structurally identical to the Alto version from the start — just with slightly different colors — for detailed review info on the newly added parts, please refer to the VF-25F Armoredmessiah Valkyrie Alto Custom review.
Just like the Armored Pack Alto, thanks to the added locking mechanism, the Battroid, Gerwalk, and Fighter modes all lock together solidly, and the sheer imposing presence that comes with the massive weapon pack is what makes this kit so appealing. Alto may be the main character, but honestly... the Ozma version has that distinctive skull mark and a weighty gray color scheme that makes it look even cooler than the Alto version. When it comes to the Armored Pack as well, just looking at the kit itself, I'd say it's got a bit more edge to it than the Alto version.
One difference from the Armored Pack Alto is that the Sniper rifle for Michel that was included with the Alto version is missing from the Armored Pack Ozma. One runner is gone, yet the price is the same at ¥8000 — it's probably more accurate to think of it as a bonus part that was included with the Alto version rather than something that was left out of the Ozma version.
Either way, alongside the Armored Pack Alto, this is a great kit that boasts an absolutely killer presence. :-)
