Striking black-and-white box art
The white plated parts appear to use the same method as the Unicorn Titanium Finish coating.
Normally plated parts can only go as far as silver, and white is difficult to achieve —
but by mixing titanium into a clear coat, you get this marble-like white plated surface.
Due to the glossy finish, the coating doesn't adhere well into the panel lines, which actually makes the panel line details stand out really clearly.
(Almost no panel lining needed..)
The feet have a really luxurious copper metallic sheen.
The black areas on the wings and body have been coated with a slightly bluish tint..
And again, thanks to the glossy coating, the panel lines show up as bright white highlights.
The gunpod has a glossy purple coating.
The red and green plated parts on the head and eye area.
The inner frame is molded in a dark gunmetal color.
Being a plated version, there are no seals included — only waterslide decals.
Since it's a transformable kit, applying waterslide decals feels a bit risky..
But at the same time, topcoating over the plating doesn't feel right either, so it's a pretty awkward situation..
Fitting for a plated version, all the decals have a glossy finish as well.
It's the same manual as the standard Alto custom, with just a parts order card for the limited edition parts added in.
