This kit is the Michel unit Klan Deculture Decal version, released alongside Alto's unit Lanka Decal version. Lanka and Sheryl decals have come out before in various waterslide decal versions, but this is the first time we've gotten a Klan Decal version, so it feels pretty fresh. ^^

Just like Alto's unit Lanka Decal version, the Klan version also comes with both waterslide decals and seals, so even those of us who aren't Zentradi can build it without any stress. That said, since the base color is a deep blue, the seals do feel a bit more out of place compared to Alto's white-based unit. In other words, the difference in surface texture between areas with seals and areas without is a bit more noticeable here. Of course it's hard to tell from a distance, but up close it's fairly obvious.

Still, the sticker seals are much easier to apply than waterslide decals, and the big advantage is that there's no risk of them getting damaged during transformation. The overall quality is on par with Alto's unit Lanka Decal version, but it's fair to say this one is at a slight disadvantage due to the darker background color in the design.

Above all, Klan decals are hard to come by, so this feels like a legitimate special edition with plenty of personality and collector's value. One small gripe though — Lanka and Klan have very different body proportions in the show... but in this decal version she's the chibi child character version, which is just a little bit of a shame... (H-hey now!) :-)
