The Metal Shaft comes with two separate pieces — one for mounting on the back, and one for actual use as a weapon.

There are silver seals to apply here and there...
There are quite a lot of them, so you'll need to spend a good hour carefully putting them all on. -.-;;
On top of that, they have to go on areas with lots of curves and molded detail, so the end result isn't great either... Why couldn't they just do proper color separation? T_T)r

The Metal Shaft for weapon use has a feature where both ends can be extended.

The peg on the palm locks firmly into the hole on the Metal Shaft,
so there's no issue with grip strength. ^^

When you remove the Metal Shaft from the back, there's a small cover to hide the mounting hole...
but it falls off pretty easily, so you're likely to lose it in no time;

The Stag Phone can be mounted on the Metal Shaft.

Given the nature of the series, they're basically the same thing just in different colors...;
