At first glance it might look like it reuses parts from the existing Kamen Rider Double kits, but while the overall structure is similar, it's an entirely new-mold kit redesigned from head to toe. (Though if more OOO kits come out down the line, some parts will probably be reused.)

The look is a bit more complex and flashy than the traditional Kamen Rider style — though in a way, it also feels very distinctly Japanese. The armor styling is completely different from the Double series, so the color separation is a bit more involved and applying the seals is a bit more work too. I didn't think the seal work would be a big deal, but in my case it took almost as long as the actual assembly ; The elaborate chest markings come in two types — one that covers the whole area and one that only fills in the black sections — so you can go with whichever you prefer.

If the USB memory stick was the highlight of Double, then in OOO it's all about the medals. This kit comes with a variety of colorful medals, and you can apply seals to make them look even more detailed. These medals can be loaded and stored in color-matched slots on the front of the belt, the side, the back of the Medajalibur, the middle section, and more.

Since the internal structure is the same, the articulation is pretty much on par with the existing Kamen Rider Double kits — but overall, the color separation and the kit's composition give OOO a slightly more refined feel. The proportions look a bit more convincing, and the feel in hand is somehow a little better too. (Or maybe it's just my imagination?) Either way, most poses come out looking quite natural. ^^

In the end, Kamen Rider is a series with a fairly niche fanbase, but as a buildable action figure, this is a solid new lineup with great proportions, articulation, and assembly. It feels like about half a step up from Kamen Rider Double as well. If you're a Kamen Rider OOO fan, this is definitely a buildable action figure worth considering. :-)
