TOPThe gates are minimized so that even beginners can pull the parts off without nippers...
Gate marks will still be left behind, so cleaning them up is definitely recommended.
That said, the gates are much easier to clean up compared to the size of the parts.
The box size is on par with a PG or an ¥8,000-class MG.
The typical three-section layout.
Interestingly, next to every part number
there's a little icon showing which section of the kit that part belongs to — head, torso, arms, legs, etc.
It's a handy touch, but it does give off a slightly toy-like vibe...
It supports the method of snapping entire runners together as one — something that was used back in the old 1/144 V Gundam kits and the like.
Sure, it's a tiny bit more convenient, but it makes cleaning up the gates awkward, so
it's better to separate and clean the parts individually before assembling if you can.
Still, it's a nice touch for maximizing ease of assembly for casual builders.
