Kit Review
Straight build + Stickers
Straight build + Stickers
The 10th entry in the One Piece Grand Ship Collection is the floating restaurant Baratie. The Baratie is also famous for having a real restaurant built in a similar shape in Odaiba, Japan ^^
The kit's composition is the same as previous entries, so assembly can be knocked out in about 30 minutes — but applying the stickers and seals takes about three times as long, as usual. Still, once you get through the easy assembly and finish up all the sticker work, it comes together looking pretty nice as a straight build, making it a lineup that's sure to be popular with female fans too.
The Baratie includes a large sea deck, which is normally displayed folded down, but can also be displayed in its extended form by re-attaching it to the side of the ship. Of course, it also comes with the option to remove the lower section and make use of the wave effect parts.
This kit is significant simply for adding yet another cute One Piece ship model to the collection, and it's sure to make a small but delightful gift for any One Piece fan :-)
