Bandai has released the HG Gipsy Avenger [Final Battle Specification] as part of their Pacific Rim: Uprising lineup. It's essentially the existing HG Gipsy Avenger with various accessories added to recreate the final scenes from the film. The stand that came with the DX set is also included, though the LED unit is not.

The main body itself is identical to the original, so it's a solid kit with decent articulation, good joint strength, and excellent detail that makes it fun to build and handle. The added accessories include a large thruster pod that mounts on the back, a hand thruster pod that connects to a separate hand part, and two versions of Scrapper — one posed holding the hand thruster pod, and one designed to plug onto Gipsy Avenger's back. There's also a chain sword for Gipsy Avenger that reuses the clear chain parts from the HG Obsidian Fury, plus a newly included stand joint part for flying poses. On top of that, a new back part with a locking mechanism has been added to mount the large thruster and secure Scrapper — so there's actually quite a bit of new content here.

Anyway, while Pacific Rim: Uprising didn't exactly get rave reviews, I personally had a pretty good time watching it. With all the extra parts packed in to recreate the final battle scenes, plus a dedicated stand thrown in, this is pretty much the definitive version of the Gipsy Avenger model kit — no exaggeration. :-)
