This is the Weissritter released as part of Bandai's Super Robot Wars HG series. As one of the most iconic Super Robot Wars units, the yellow and blue parts scattered across the body are almost perfectly color-separated. Thanks to that, even a straight build without any stickers looks fantastic.
The plastic itself has that satisfying snap-together feel — soft enough to work with, yet everything clicks into place just right. The articulation is solid all around, and even the polycap-less joints move smoothly, making this an absolute top-tier kit as far as plastic models go.
For weapons, an Oxtan Launcher and 2 beam sabers are included, and as bonus parts you get a left wrist with a triple beam cannon and Split Missile mounts — though the Split Missiles themselves aren't included, so you'll need to borrow them from the HG Gespenst. On top of that, a clear Action Base 7 is also included, which comes in really handy for aerial poses.
All in all, this kit came out clean and polished with nothing to complain about, and the overall presence and proportions are a step up from the Kotobukiya Weissritter that came out 19 years ago. Sure, there's a big gap in time between them, but it really makes you appreciate just how impressive Bandai's engineering has become. Either way, if you're a Super Robot Wars fan or just dig the design, this is a kit you can grab without hesitation — and if you're someone who really values that satisfying build feel, I'd especially recommend it. :-)
