Straight build

This kit is the 1/72 X-wing Fighter — Poe's personal craft — as seen in Star Wars Episode 9: The Rise of Skywalker. The design and silhouette are the same as the previously released Episode 7/8 versions of the X-wing Fighter, but the updated color scheme required two brand-new runners to be added. The diagonal color separation running across the fuselage is a new addition, and quite a few parts have been changed as a result.

Other than the switch to R2-D2 as the droid, the landing gear, beam effect parts, and all the other gimmicks are completely identical to the previous version.
