The VF-31S Siegfried (Arad Molders Use) from Macross Delta has been released as an HG kit. HG VF-31J Siegfried (Hayate Immelman Use)is the same kit with the molded colors swapped out for Arad's color scheme, plus a newly sculpted head and a figure of Mikumo Guynemer.

So all the structural features and overall quality are identical to the HG VF-31J and VF-31C — it still delivers excellent part retention and the same swap-out transformation gimmick. Since the VF-31 series is basically the same design with different heads anyway, for this review you really just need to pay attention to the new color scheme, the head, and the figure.

As you'd expect from a typical Macross variation, this kit is pretty much a straight-up color variant. That said, it's still a quality kit, so for anyone collecting Macross craft, this should make for a great addition. :-)
