This kit is the HG Ryujinmaru DX Ver., released as a Premium Bandai online exclusive. Compared to the previously released HG Ryujinmaru, it's a deluxe package that adds gold plated parts along with a variety of effect parts. Six attack effect parts are included — Kyokugen Tōryūken, Tōryūken Hissatsu, Ryūraikken, Enryūken, Ryūgaken, and Hiryūken — plus a small stand.

The main body build is the same as before, and it still shows surprisingly decent articulation for its size along with solid joint strength. Using the nicely sculpted clear effect parts, you can recreate a variety of poses from the show. And while the molded color of the body itself is unchanged from the original (aside from the gold plating), the added coating definitely gives it a noticeably more premium look.

All in all, this is a great example of a DX Ver. done right — packed with a generous set of deluxe extras. If you're a fan of the Wataru series, this kit is definitely worth picking up. :-)
