A long, sleek, and premium-looking box.
Comparison with the old 1/500 Space Battleship Yamato box — a true veteran of the lineup.
It's narrower but longer.
The internal box layout is the same though.
The stand runners aren't individually bagged.
The hull is split into two halves and molded in long pieces.
As expected from a newer release, the red sections on the bottom are nicely separated — a nice touch.
Areas like the verniers are handled as single solid pieces.
Parts for nozzles and windows are provided in two versions — clear parts and red parts — so you can choose either.
Deck runners.
There are so many cannons big and small that the cannon runners alone take up two sheets.
Fighter runners. The detail is great.
The bow section is molded cleanly as one solid piece...
