The 14th HG kit from Gundam Reconguista in G is the Dahack, showing off its flashy beam saber units. At first glance the design brings 00's MS to mind, but what really stands out is that muscular, three-dimensional, bumpy armor.

First off, the relatively complex color layout of the body is cleanly reproduced through well-thought-out parts separation, and deploying the 4 beam cannon/beam saber units on the back lets you pull off those signature flashy beam saber action poses. You can also equip 2 beam barriers using the separately included hands — though the catch is that the beam barriers are molded in milky clear plastic, so they end up being so bright they're barely visible in photos ^^;

One thing worth noting — despite the slim-yet-bulky look, the articulation is pretty average, so pulling off really dynamic poses is harder than you'd expect. It's more about getting creative with the unique combination of the beam barriers and 4 beam sabers for some distinctive posing.

That said, as you'd expect from a recent kit, it delivers solid color separation and joint strength, and the unique weapons give it plenty of personality. If you were into this unit in Gundam Reconguista in G, it's definitely a kit worth picking up :-)
