Following the MG, the HGUC Unicorn has now been released in a Titanium Finish version as well.
The overall coating quality is on par with the MG, and as you'd expect from Bandai's top-tier coating process,
the beautiful marble-like finish is just stunning. ^^
That said, just like the MG, the gate marks are unfortunately pretty noticeable,
and maybe because the surface area is smaller than the MG, the flashy marble-like feel
is just a little less impressive. On the flip side, compared to the MG it has a tighter,
more compact feel of stability — which is actually one of the strengths of the HGUC format.
The kit's features are the same as the standard version, so there's not much extra to mention
aside from the fact that the added coating makes the joint strength feel slightly stiffer.
If you can get past the price tag.. this is a top-tier plated version that's absolutely worth adding to your collection. :-)
