Following the standard ReZEL, the Commander type has now been released.
Unlike the standard type, the Commander type adds poseable wings to the backpack and swaps out the original weapons for the Mega Beam Launcher. On top of that, the molded colors on the torso and foot instep have been changed to slightly darker shades.

Since the basic structure is the same as the standard type, the overall quality is pretty much identical — it shows off excellent articulation and joint strength. That said, the same issues carry over: the front skirts tend to wobble a bit when attached in split form, and the side skirts have that same iffy attachment problem..;

The transformation process into Waverider mode and the resulting look are largely similar to the standard type, so it doesn't feel drastically different — but the massive Mega Beam Launcher does give it a noticeably more imposing overall impression.
