HGUC MSZ-010

ZZ Gundam Clear Color Ver.

Kit Review

Straight build

Two clear color versions were released as 2010 Gunpla Expo exclusives — ZZ Gundam alongside Z Gundam. Like the others, it uses an opaque milky clear finish. Unlike the Z Gundam though, this is the first-ever clear color version of ZZ Gundam, so it's got its own unique appeal. ^^

The basic kit characteristics are no different from other clear color versions — the harder plastic makes cleaning up gates a real pain, but once it's done it looks lovely~. The joints are a bit stiffer, but that's actually more of a virtue for a transforming kit, so it's not a big deal... that said, the HGUC ZZ Gundam already involves a lot of parts swapping and is pretty complex to transform, so the harder plastic does make your hands ache a bit more.

Either way, being the one and only ZZ Gundam Clear Color Ver. is this kit's biggest selling point, and it looks even better displayed alongside the Z Gundam Clear Color Ver. ^^
