Just when I thought the HGUC lineup for 0083 was nearly complete,
the somewhat minor GM Cannon II got an HGUC release too. It's a pretty welcome item for Universal Century fans ^^

Essentially a kit based on the GM Custom with added armor and a cannon
mounted on, reusing a good number of parts from the HGUC GM Custom.
More than half the parts are new, the armor shape is quite different, and most notably
it has cannons on the shoulders, making it a pretty unique kit.

The overall quality is clean and polished as you'd expect from a modern kit, and while the leg articulation is a little disappointing, the joint strength and articulation are generally solid. Aside from the fact that it's a new mobile suit release, there's nothing particularly groundbreaking about it in terms of format or structure.

It's definitely a welcome addition for fleshing out the 0083 lineup, and for fans of 0083 and the Universal Century, it's a solid, enjoyable kit you can build without worrying about quality :-)
