The Banshee — a deep navy blue Unicorn oozing charisma — has been released first in the HGUC lineup. Just like before, the Destroy Mode and Unicorn Mode were released simultaneously, and just like the standard version, the Destroy Mode got the earlier kit number.

In terms of lore, the Banshee is essentially the same unit as the original Unicorn, just with different colors. The visual differences are the more complex head antenna and the Armed Armor units mounted on both arms — which means the original beam rifle and shield have been relegated to leftover parts.

The base body quality is naturally the same as the standard version, offering decent joint strength and average articulation, but it does a great job of capturing the intricate color combination of the Destroy Mode.
