Following the HGUC ReZEL and ReZEL Commander Type, the ReZEL Type-C has now been released. First off, the molded color has been changed to light gray and orange. On top of that, a second mega beam launcher has been added to the one that came with the Commander Type, giving you two in total, and defenser units have been added to the backpack and side skirt areas — making this one seriously beefy-looking kit overall.

Since the base body is identical to the existing HGUC ReZEL, it delivers excellent articulation and joint strength across the board. What I really appreciate is that even with all that extra gear piled onto the back, the center of gravity doesn't really get thrown off. When you add a bunch of bulky weapons like this, durability tends to become a concern — the waist is ever so slightly iffy — but since there's no trouble at all getting it to stand in a posed position, I'd say it passes on that front.

The transformation process into Waverider mode is largely similar to the existing HGUC ReZEL, but three additional locking parts have been added thanks to the increased weaponry. Fortunately, that means the stability in Waverider mode is also quite solid — nice! ^^

Anyway, it's not a kit with any huge standout features beyond the color change and added weapons, but it looks so different from the existing ReZEL visually that it doesn't really feel like just a color variant.
