Given how distinctive the design is and how much work went into it, it honestly feels like it could've been a regular retail release, but I guess since the base kit is such an old mold, they just went with a limited release.

Being a variation kit based on the Bawoo — one of the earliest HGUC releases — the kit's basic framework does feel pretty old-school. That said, the two dedicated runners combined with the Sinanju's weapons give it the look of a flashy, officer-type machine that feels right at home with modern kits. The Unicorn-style markings, Sinanju-style leg armor and weapons, and the new backpack design all come together to give it a more refined, premium feel that sets it clearly apart from the Bawoo. As a result, even in Attacker and Nutter mode, it looks far more impressive than the Bawoo.

The real appeal of this kit is being able to build Full Frontal's striking new machine, but the age of the base kit is definitely a drawback. The articulation feels dated and the overall construction has a somewhat rough feel to it. In particular, some parts like the front skirt and leg side armor aren't compatible and have to be glued in place. On top of that, the hip joint connections and a few other spots tend to pop out if you don't apply glue, which makes handling the kit a bit of a hassle.

It's not the most satisfying build in terms of feel, but for a limited release it has a surprisingly fresh quality that's almost on par with a regular retail kit — so it's got its own merits. If you're a fan of Full Frontal's machine with its Char-style flair cranked up to eleven, this is a pretty unique limited release worth recommending. :-)
