HGUC MSA-003

Nemo [Unicorn Desert Color Ver.]

Kit Review

Straight build + Stickers + Panel lining

Following the Unicorn version and the Z Gundam original version, the Unicorn Desert Color Ver. Nemo has now been released as an HGUC kit. In terms of specs, only the molded colors have been changed — the body itself is 100% identical in structure across all versions, so this kit has absolutely no new parts and is purely a color variant kit.

That said, it seems like they felt just swapping the molded colors wasn't quite enough, so this kit includes both the Jim Rifle (long gun) from the Unicorn version and the beam rifle (short gun) from the Z Gundam original version at the same time. Each individual version only came with one of those weapons, so bundling both together here is at least a nice little gesture ^^;

The base kit itself is clean and well-made, though articulation isn't particularly great for a more recent release. The joints are pretty standard — about 90 degrees of bend — but the shoulders and ankles are relatively flexible and the joint strength is solid, so it does pose pretty well.

All in all, it's a satisfying kit to build, but there's nothing really new about it — just a straightforward, no-surprises HGUC release that was bound to come out eventually. :-)
