Aile Strike Rouge

Kit Review

Straight build + Stickers + Panel lining

Following the Aile Strike Gundam's rebirth as an HGCE-level kit, the Strike Rouge has also been released in the HGCE lineup. Since it's technically just a different-colored unit in the lore, this kit comes out as a pure 100% color variant — though a few parts didn't match up with the runners due to the color combinations on the feet and shield, so some parts ended up being duplicated across multiple runners, which pushed the price up by ¥100.

True to the fully renewed HGCE Strike, this is an exemplary kit that offers a very satisfying build experience along with solid joint strength and excellent articulation. Unlike the older HG Strike Rouge's molded colors, this one comes with the clean, refined color tones you'd expect from an MG-level kit, making it look even prettier — and honestly, just in terms of color alone, it gives off a more vibrant feel than the standard Strike.

Sure, it's just a color variant at the end of the day, but it's a genuinely pretty and well-made kit that I'd recommend to any Gunpla fan — especially female modelers. :-)
