Following the EXAM versions of Units 1 and 2 — renewals of the HGUC Blue Destiny line — Unit 3 has now been released as well. The basic setup is the same as the previous kits, and swapping the eye and backpack parts to activate the EXAM system works the same way too.

As you'd expect from a renewal version, it delivers top-notch articulation and solid joint strength — however, the waist tends to pop out during posing, and the red parts on the head antenna keep falling off, so you're probably better off just gluing them down. On the weapons front, a new twin beam gun has been added, while everything else is the same as the previous kits.

This is really a kit that's more fun to build alongside Units 1 and 2, but the overall quality is solid, making it an HGUC kit that's easy to recommend to just about anyone. :-)
