Kit Review
Straight build + Stickers + Panel lining
This improves the shoulder's range of motion, though it's more effective when raising the arm upward than moving it forward or backward.

The Sinanju Stein, which was released as an MG back in 2013, has now gotten the HGUC treatment in its Narrative Ver. At first glance it might look like just a variation kit of the Sinanju, but aside from a few weapon parts, it's actually an all-new kit with newly tooled parts throughout.
True to its completely redesigned Sinanju lineage, it comes out with clean, up-to-date quality, and the solid articulation and joint strength make for stable posing. The grenade launcher from the shield and the bazooka can also be reconfigured and mounted under the high beam rifle, and the firm grip hands hold the weapons securely. There are no parts that randomly fall off during handling either, so it's a very pleasant kit to play around with.
One particularly unique feature of this kit is the shoulder gimmick, where the shoulder joint can be slid outward. This helps extend the shoulder's range of motion in all directions — up, down, forward, and back — though structurally speaking, it's especially useful for raising the shoulder up high rather than swinging it forward or backward.
The overall quality is so clean that there's really not much to complain about — if I had to nitpick, the kit comes with 6 hands but only 5 hand back covers, so you'll need to swap them around as needed. (A little stingy, that...)
All in all, this kit is significant for bringing the Sinanju Stein into the HGUC lineup with a completely new sculpt, and it's an exemplary kit I'd recommend to any Gunpla fan. :-)
