The Silver Bullet Suppressor from Mobile Suit Gundam NT has been released as an HGUC kit. It's a variation kit of the previously released HGUC Silver Bullet, with roughly half of it made up of new runners. Quite a few areas have been redesigned — including the head, shoulders, knees, feet, front skirt, and backpack — along with an overall change in molded colors.

The most distinctive feature is the backpack loaded with 4 spare right arms, and the lore behind it is pretty interesting. Basically, it uses the beam magnum — a weapon originally designed for the Unicorn Gundam — but the Silver Bullet's arm can't handle the recoil from firing it. So the arm has to be replaced every time it shoots, and since it can fire a total of 5 shots, it comes equipped with 4 spare arms. It's actually a fairly large kit to be held together with standard HGUC polycaps, but it holds up better than you'd expect. Also, keep in mind that 3 of the spare arms are fixed-type and only 1 is poseable.

All in all, this kit's real appeal lies in how well it recreates the unique spare arm and replacement gimmick. If you enjoyed Mobile Suit Gundam NT, this is definitely a fun one to build. :-)
