The weapon loadout itself is the same as before, but the beam rifle and shield have been resculpted.

An energy pack and barrel holder have been added to the front.

Replacement parts for the beam rifle barrel holder, newly sculpted for this kit.

The right side skirt has also been resculpted — you can now open a cover to secure the barrel holder in place.

The shield has been changed to a battle-damaged version, and the original shield parts are also included.

The battle-damaged shield even recreates the roughened surface texture.

A new shield joint part (right) has also been added.
Using this part, you can rotate the shield 90 degrees.

Just like in the show, the face has been changed to the Gundam face revealed when the original mask shatters. (right)
It shows the classic Gundam-style small eyes and mask design.

The original face is also included in the box.

The number of hands has increased from 5 to 7.

A set of open hands with sub-manipulators added to the palms has been included.
Xi Gundam's hands are on the larger side, so these are adapter parts to make them compatible with existing 1/144-scale weapons.

The articulation itself is the same as before.

The molded colors have changed quite a bit more than I expected.
