The Bawoo has been released in a mass production type as well. But it's really just a color variant — structurally there's absolutely nothing different. The Yongbi (龍飛) dragon tattoo seals that came with the Prototype (orange) are included in the mass production Bawoo too, but since the mass production unit isn't supposed to have the dragon tattoo (??), I left them off. Just like the previous kit, the proportions are excellent and the transformation goes together cleanly.

Since only the molded color is different, the kit's features and articulation are completely identical to the orange version — though the different color does give it a distinctly different feel. The green typical of mass production units looks pretty decent, and when you put it next to the overly washed-out orange Prototype, it definitely reads as a different machine.

If I had to pick one of the two, I'd still recommend the orange Prototype Bawoo since it's more of a main character unit... but since the kits are essentially the same either way, it's perfectly fine to just go with whichever color appeals to you more. ^^
