Char's Rick Dias

Kit Review

Straight build + Panel lining

Following the standard Rick-Dias, Char's (though in the Zeta series he goes by the name Quattro Bajeena..) custom Rick-Dias has been released. In the original setting, it's just a different color scheme for Char's use, so naturally this kit is also just a color variant of the H10 Rick-Dias standard type with different molded colors. So all the physical characteristics of the kit are completely identical.

During the One Year War, Char favored pink and purple color schemes, but come the Zeta era he changed his name to Quattro Bajeena and apparently developed a taste for chili-red (?). So Char's custom Rick-Dias comes in a very vivid red molded color.

Even though it's just a color variant with different molded colors, Char's color scheme looks far more striking and clean compared to the standard type. The standard version is (true to its original design) just too drab — if you line up a bunch of them, they practically disappear into the background.. (^.^;) The color quality of the molded plastic itself also looks much nicer in person with Char's red. (Red plastic tends to come out looking a bit washed out and murky when shot with a digital camera) So if I had to pick one of the two, I'd recommend going with Char's version. ^^
