HGUC kits keep rolling out as part of the 0080 series ^^ This time it's the third one — the Z'Gok E.
The biggest feature of the HGUC Z'Gok E is that the arms and legs, which look like multi-jointed segments, are each made up of individual parts that give it a great sense of depth. However, unlike the Z'Gok's actual moving multi-joints, these are just split up for the look and are fixed in place. On top of that, the inner connecting joints at the top and bottom of the multi-joint sections are weak and tend to pop out during posing. Once one comes loose, all the multi-joint shell pieces can come tumbling off -.-; Arm and leg articulation is a bit below average, and the joints feel a little loose too. Maybe that's why it's pretty tough to get a good action pose out of it..
The overall look is a bit chunkier than the original Z'Gok, with more complex detailing. It may come down to personal taste, but it's a reasonably sleek design. That said, the kit quality itself feels a slight step down from the original Z'Gok.
The joint articulation is relatively limited and on the loose side, but the voluminous multi-joint expression and excellent detail are right in line with what you'd expect from HGUC. Still, it's one of those HGUC kits that leaves you wanting just a little more in terms of quality.
