Kit Review
Straight build + Panel lining
The left photo is a close-up of the upper body. That's a slim waist~
The eye and shoulder sensor parts use soft green clear parts for added realism.
Thanks to the transformation mechanism, the waist is incredibly thin.
The purple parts on the rear skirt in the right photo had to be handled with seals..
But did they really need to use that shiny material? It just looks really out of place.
A bit of a letdown. The wrist area is also handled with seals —
It's totally doable with proper color separation, so it's a shame they went with seals instead.
The knuckle buster isn't just held in the hand; it's actually mounted under the right chest.
According to the lore, it's some kind of system that lets the pilot fire it instantly in any direction via the sensor on the right chest..
The right hand is just there to support it.
The chest sensor part is soft translucent green, and there's a reflective seal applied to the back of it.
So when light hits it just right, it really sparkles ^^
The beam saber is stored inside the shoulder shield.
The right hand part has a pretty natural shape — it's meant for supporting the knuckle buster.
No matter how you look at it, the right hand shape looks like it's reaching out for a handshake :-) Articulation is decent enough..
And as you can see in the right photo, the chest can split open due to the transformation mechanism.
The shoulders look like they shouldn't be able to move sideways.. but thankfully the joints are segmented so they move just fine..
The waist rotation happens just below the chest.
Honestly, the design makes it hard to pull off a wide variety of action poses ^^; Beam saber action pose.
Detach the knuckle buster from the chest, move it to the back structure and attach it there, then pull both chest halves open.
Rotate the opened chest halves 90 degrees upward, then rotate the shields on both arms 180 degrees..
Swing the back structure (beam gun) down and attach it to the body.
At this point, the head slides right into the beam gun's body.
Unfold the waist structure that was folded up so it can articulate.
Bend the waist 90 degrees forward.. when you fully extend the waist, the front and rear waist joints lock together and click into place.
Rotate the legs 180 degrees. This is the mid-transformation state into turret form — kind of like a siege mode, you could say.
Finally, bring the feet together into a pincer shape.. then fold the legs forward and the transformation into MA mode is complete!
MA mode
Together with the Qubeley, Haman's other personal machine. Together with the Methuss, the previous HGUC release.
The Gaza C does look a bit compact in comparison.
Together with the HGUC Zeta and Hyaku-Shiki. Transformed side by side with the Zeta and Methuss.
In MA mode, it doesn't look small compared to the other units.
