Zeta Gundam Clear Version

Kit Review

Straight build

The commemorative limited editions for all three parts of the two-part Zeta Gundam movie were naturally the main character,
the Zeta Gundam Clear Version. Part 1's commemorative edition was the Mk-II Clear, Part 2's was the
Hyaku-Shiki Clear, so of course the finale had to be the main character's turn..

Since the base kit itself is well-regarded for its quality, the clear version likewise delivers a clean and refined build experience. The clear version's unique charisma really shines through, and as tends to be the case with clear versions, the joints are a bit stiffer too, which is a plus. ^^

As with other clear versions, the main body armor and key sections are clear molded, while the remaining peripheral parts are done in standard plastic. Verniers, shield, feet, etc.. If you clear-mold the entire thing it ends up looking kind of washed out and pale, so I think mixing in the clear parts at key points like this works out better.

Either way, paired together with the other two clear sets it makes for an even more impressive
(though admittedly tough to collect all of;) limited edition. :-)
