The ongoing parade of Graze variations continues, and the fifth entry is the Graze Ritter piloted by Carta. First off, the teal and black color combo gives it a knight-like design that feels more refined than the previous Graze kits. And fittingly for a unit piloted by a woman, it's also got feet that are one heel-height taller than the normal Graze.
In terms of actual new parts, it's really just the shoulders, thighs, feet, chest, and head antenna that have been changed. Even so, the color scheme is so different that it ends up looking like a completely different unit altogether. And true to its knight-themed design, a sword called the Knight Blade has been newly added, making it possible to pull off action poses that are quite unlike any other Graze.
It's set up as a ground type by default, but space-use parts are also included — swap out the thigh armor and attach the binders on the back, and you can configure it as a space type. And if you borrow the shoulder armor and chest parts from the HG Barbatos 6th Form kit, you can even build it as a standard unit rather than Carta's personal machine.
The base kit, the HG Graze, is already such a high-quality, clean kit that the Graze Ritter — with its upgraded visuals on top of that — feels even more impressive in hand. Even if you've already built several other HG Graze kits, I'd still recommend giving this Graze Ritter a go at least once. :-)
