This kit is the Mobile Reginlaze Julieta's Unit, released as the 24th Iron-Blooded Orphans HG kit. As the name suggests, it's essentially a second-generation version of the Graze — which you could call the Zaku of this series. A new frame runner called the Reginlaze Frame has been introduced, but it still doesn't feel all that different from the existing frames.
The overall design is a reworked version of the existing Graze as its base, and the articulation characteristics are similar too — boasting excellent posability and solid joint strength. That said, the side skirts pop off constantly during posing, which is a pretty annoying issue. The head cover can also be slightly lifted to open up the spherical sensor, but it doesn't hold in place well, making it hard to keep it in the open position.
The weapon loadout includes a rifle, two gauntlets, and a Twin Pile exclusive to Julieta's unit. The rifle's magazines can be detached and mounted at various points on the body, and the rifle itself can also be stored on the side and rear skirts. As for the Twin Pile, you have to disassemble it into three pieces around the grip and then reassemble it in the hands — it's a bit tight and fiddly, making it one of those weapons that's kind of a pain to equip. On top of that, you can also recreate an anchor launch scene by removing the anchor at the tip of the Twin Pile and using the wire parts.
In terms of what's included, it does feel like a clean, up-to-date kit. But with so many joints it takes a while to get the poses just right, and there are parts like the side skirts that don't hold their position well, so it's hard to give it high marks overall. Swapping and attaching weapons is also oddly tedious. That said, the basic package itself is solid, so hopefully the next Reginlaze variation will iron out these little annoyances. :-)
