This kit is the Modelers Edition of the ADFX-01 from the game Ace Combat. Just like previous Modelers Editions, the partial paint details from the normal version have been removed, and it's molded in a single color suited for painting. Unlike earlier Modelers Editions that came out in a light gray resembling a coat of primer, this one is molded in a dark gray Soldier Ace color from Ace Combat 7.

Aside from the removal of the partial paint details, the basic parts lineup is completely identical to the normal version — the TLS and landing gear attachment/detachment, air brake gimmick, all of it is still there. It's technically meant to be painted, but the straight build actually looks better than the normal version, which makes it a rather peculiar Modelers Edition.

Anyway, dropping the partial paint details does bring the price down slightly from ¥4500 to ¥3800, but it's still hard to call it great value.
