This kit is Yukumo, released as part of Kotobukiya's original Arcarnadia series lineup. This one is a beast-person Dears character, and her standout features are her cute style paired with that massive tail. Overall, the color separation is excellent and the look is just gorgeous.

First off, the joint strength is solid throughout, and the articulation is decent enough to pull off all kinds of fun poses. The huge tail shifts the center of gravity way toward the back, but thanks to the special stand that locks onto the underside of the tail, you can get her standing upright and posing without too much trouble. That said, she really can't do much without the stand — flip side of that coin. Still, you can double up with the elongated auxiliary stand for extra support, so stable display is possible anywhere from ground level to mid-air.

Like the previous releases, you can configure her in either Normal Mode or Wyrise Mode, and Normal Mode holds its own in terms of impressive volume. Unlike other girl-pla kits that progressively pile on weapons and armor over a base body, this one feels more like simply choosing between two cute looks. The tail design in particular is quite different between the two modes, and Normal Mode still manages to feel big and flashy in its own right.

For weapons, you just get a staff and a sword — pretty simple. The thick sleeves in Wyrise Mode mean a set of elongated wrist joints are also included. These let you position the hands naturally even while holding weapons, so posing is stress-free and comfortable. On top of that, there are little optional touches like removing the ears or swapping in Velretta's ears for a crossover look.

All in all, this is a kit that stands at the very top of Kotobukiya's girl-pla lineup in terms of quality. In terms of sheer prettiness, it's top-tier girl-pla, and if the style speaks to you, this is definitely one I'd strongly recommend. :-)
